19-35 Baker Street is a flagship mixed-use development in London’s Marylebone and West End. The scheme includes approximately 27,700m² of office space, 41 residential units and 21 retail units, arranged around a new public courtyard.
Working with Lindner Prater, RYNO supplied its Non-combustible pedestal system to support 50mm natural Yorkstone paving on RYNO’s RP-RF across several roof terraces.
The Challenge
The terraces were installed over an inverted roof build-up and incorporated several demanding details, including changes in level, paved steps and interfaces with the building maintenance unit track.
A support system was required that could carry the heavy Yorkstone paving, accommodate these details and preserve drainage without affecting the underlying roof construction.


Solution + Process
RYNO supplied its RP-FR adjustable paving pedestal system, providing a non-combustible solution suited to both the inverted roof build-up and the weight of the 50mm Yorkstone.
The pedestals created a level walking surface and a free-draining void beneath the paving. Standard 4mm joints provided consistent spacing while allowing surface water to pass through to roof level.
At perimeter abutments, RYNO edge spring clips maintained a 10–12mm gap and securely retained the outer paving units.

The adjustable system helped Lindner Prater resolve variations in height and complex rooftop interfaces efficiently.
Its dry installation method simplified the positioning of the natural stone and avoided the need for a bonded construction, while the edge spring clips provided a practical solution at perimeter details.
