The Ballast Bracket is an aluminium bracket that works with all RYNO TerraSmart systems featuring the DS joists. Simply fixed to the side of the DS Aluminium Joists, it is designed to create a ‘shelf’ to carry 600x600mm concrete ballast slabs, beneath the finished deckboard surface. It is the simplest way of increasing resistance against the effects of wind uplift, by increasing the dead weight of the system being installed.
